Tisiya Mahoro is a MasterCard scholar, an International Relations and Business Management double major at Agnes Scott College graduating May 2019. Born in Congo and raised in Uganda, Tisiya has lived her life as a global citizen pushing borders and other limitations that could hinder her success. She is interested in public service, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Her commitment to pursue her internet has exposed her to many opportunities including a full scholarship to complete high school at African Leadership Academy (ALA) in South Africa and later to pursue a degree at Agnes Scott College. Tisiya’s experience as a refugee has motivated her to work hard and serve those in need.
