About Me

Zoe Katz hails from Athens, Georgia. She is a senior at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. Zoe studies History with a specialization in Global Learning. 

On campus, she is involved in
Sigma Alpha Iota, Collegiate Chorale, Dana Leadership Scholars, and is a tutor with the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy (CDVL).

Zoe has been honored as a Dana Leadership Scholar, an Emerging Leader, and has served as an officer for the class of 2019. Her favorite Agnes Scott tradition is Black Cat, and she has served as Black Cat chair for four years. She was a finalist in the 47th Annual Agnes Scott Writers’ Festival with her first play, Pathways.

Off-campus, Zoe has worked as a Historical Interpretation intern at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. She has worked as a Marketing and Media Intern for Green Worldwide Shipping, a private, independent shipping, and logistics company in Decatur, Georgia. She frequently volunteers through the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. 

Currently, she is working on her senior thesis regarding the socioeconomic effects of Jewish Piracy in Jamaica (yes, really), and hopes to find a career in development and philanthropy before pursuing graduate school.
