ABOUT ME
I am a senior at Agnes Scott College. I am an English Literature major and Classical Civilizations minor with a specialization in Global Learning. This portfolio is a reflection of the progress of my writing and coursework throughout my matriculation at Agnes Scott College.

Peer Advisor
Serve as role model of academic success for the Agnes Scott College Community
Assist eleven to fourteen students with the registration process for classes and help them learn how to manage the classroom transition from a high school to collegiate environment
Host one-on-one consultations (either via social media, e-communications or in-person conversations)
Participate and engage in group advising sessions with SUMMIT Advisors and first-year advisees
Lead workshops and programs focused on academic success within intellectual breadth and broadly
across the first-year experience

Mentor up to fifteen 7th graders once a month as a part of an initiative to promote forward thinking and problem solving opportunities for young students
Lead discussions on important issues 7th graders face and on a variety of topics crucial to moving forward
in their academic career and personal lives including social media safety, choosing a major, college life,
time management, and dealing with conflict resolution

across disciplines 10 hours per week

▪ Used previous experience traveling abroad to help nineteen students as they prepare for and attend the
travel portion of the course where they take a week-long trip to Northern Ireland
▪ Inspired communication between the professor and student by acting as a liaison for information to be
